The Reflections Art Program is officially back—and this year’s theme is “I Belong”. 💙 We get a lot of questions (and some confused faces 😅), so here’s everything you need to know—without the boring speech.

The VAPA Showcase, held on May 28, 2025, in the quad, was a fantastic and successful event that highlighted the BMMS Visual Arts Programs. BMMS PTSA was excited to be involved this year and help promote the Reflections program. The event featured artwork from students, performances from the Band, Choir and orchestra, and yummy treats!

Celebrating the 50th anniversary, Sunset Hills Elementary School, Black Mountain Middle School, and Mount Carmel High School have installed a commemorative time capsule bought by the BMMS PTSA at an end-of-the-year ceremony. The Time Capsule is sealed until 2049-50 when it will be opened by the future generation of Raiders to reflect upon and celebrate.
