50th Anniversary Time Capsule – A Gift from BMMS PTSA 🎉

To celebrate Black Mountain Middle School's 50th Anniversary, BMMS PTSA is excited to support a meaningful and lasting project—a Time Capsule to commemorate this special milestone!


This meaningful project began when our amazing principal, Darcel, found a well-reviewed vendor offering a high-quality time capsule at a great price. We were happy to step in and make the purchase on behalf of the school as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting meaningful experiences at BMMS.


 

On Display Now! 👀

If you haven’t seen it yet, stop by the BMMS front office—the time capsule is currently on display, thanks to Darcel! It’s a sneak peek at the special project we’ll be filling with memories, notes, and treasures from 2025 to be opened by future generations of Raiders.


 

What’s Next?


While the capsule has been purchased, the school will be sharing more information soon about how the BMMS community can participate—whether it's submitting keepsakes, writing messages, or contributing memorabilia that reflects our time together in 2025.


 

Why It Matters


The time capsule will be a lasting tribute to BMMS and the people who make it special. It will capture a unique moment in time—one that future Raiders can open, reflect on, and celebrate.


We can’t wait to see how the school brings this project to life and are so proud to be part of this special celebration.
