VAPA Showcase: Celebrating Arts and Passion through Imagination and Expression

The VAPA Showcase, held on May 28, 2025, in the quad, was a fantastic and successful event that highlighted the BMMS Visual Arts Programs. BMMS PTSA was excited to be involved this year and help promote the Reflections program.
🎨This year’s Showcase featured beautiful artwork from grades 6, 7, and 8, with caricatures, scenes, abstract art, and more. It was wonderful to see the creative energy of our students.
The evening featured performances from the Band, Choir, and orchestra. 🎼
🍿Adding to the festive atmosphere, BMMS PTSA set up a popcorn booth, bringing lots of smiles throughout the evening. BMMS PTSA also donated pizza to the school as a delicious treat for all. 🍕
Here are some photos of the PTSA table and a board where we invited everyone to add their thoughts on what makes them feel like they belong. This is a creative project—there’s no one right answer! We want to encourage every student to express themselves.
We are thankful to the many student volunteers who supported the event and made it a memorable evening for everyone. It was wonderful to see so many kids getting involved.
The VAPA Showcase truly brought our community together, and we’re so glad to be a part of it.
Get Involved for 2025–2026
We are excited to kick off another successful year of Reflections. The theme for next year is “I Belong”. We encourage all BMMS students to participate and start creating art and expressing themselves right away—no experience necessary!
