Educators Appreciation Week Was Wickedly Oz-Some! 💚✨

What an incredible week! Educators Appreciation Week 2025 at Black Mountain Middle School was a true celebration of the amazing teachers and staff who make our school so special—and it was all made possible by YOU, our incredible PTSA parents and members.

A themed flyer for Black Mountain Middle School’s Educators Appreciation Week with daily events inspired by 'Wicked' and 'The Wizard of Oz.' Monday features a yogurt parfait and bagel breakfast, Tuesday includes a coffee and treat bag bar, Wednesday offers a taco bar and gift drawing, Thursday has a popcorn snack bar, and Friday features cookies, cakes, and sweets. Bright, colorful text and a yellow brick road illustration are included.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to treat our educators to daily surprises, themed treats, and heartfelt appreciation throughout the week of May 5–9.

A Week Full of Fun & Gratitude

Each day brought a new way to say "thank you" to our educators:

A festive staff lounge setup with a decorated breakfast spread featuring bagels, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, and toppings. The table is covered with pink and green tablecloths. Paper plates, cups, and a red drink bucket are also set out for self-service.
Monday: Yogurt parfait bar and bagels – “Because of You, We Defy Gravity!”
A colorful staff lounge display featuring a large coffee urn, coffee boxes, cups, creamers, juices, snacks, and toppings, all arranged on a table with pink and green tablecloths.
Tuesday: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate bar + treat bags – “Witch’s Brew for All That You Do”

Wednesday: A Wicked Taco Bar and a special opportunity drawing with amazing prizes — 100% funded by your donations 💙

Thursday: Popcorn and snack bar with mix-ins – “POPular Staff Deserve Popular Snacks!”

Friday: Cookies, cakes, and sweets – “Our Educators are Wickedly Sweet!”
